About Me

Matthew Cline is Christian musician looking to perform at Christian coffeehouses and churches in eastern Pennsylvania and surrounding areas. This summer he will most likely be touring by himself, though the possibility of a band joining him is not out of the question. Here is a short biography of Matthew from the Christian music perspective:

Matthew is a music education major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He is actively involved with the Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, PA attending Sunday services and Sunday school. He attends a high school/college event called Learning In Fellowship Together (LIFT) at the Grace United Methodist Church in Indiana and participates in their coffeehouse (the Lighthouse) every other Friday evening. When he is home, he continues to be an active member at his home church, the First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem, PA, attending Sunday services and college events and helping out in various ways with the middle school and high school Sunday school. During high school, he had the opportunity to lead worship for almost all middle school and high school events. He led a middle school small group for a year and was a leader on several middle school retreats and mission trips. He is now involved with the IUP chapter of Christian Student Fellowship (CSF), where he has been the worship leader for the past two years. He has been a member of a Christian rock band that plays in coffeehouses at least two or three times a month and occasionally leads worship for LIFT and other special events on and off the IUP campus.
